Gifts from afar.....and a new friend!

We have a new friend that we met on the website who is from South Africa. Her name is Linsey and she found our page a while back via some other websites. Our site is open to anyone out there in internet land who wishes to visit and it's always interesting to find out where are visitors are from and learn a little more about them. Linsey decided she wanted to send a little gift to Danielle so that she would have something from South Africa. After what seemed like forever, the package arrived. In it were lots and lots of really thoughtful girly stuff from Linsey. The photo album is of Danielle and I opening the package and reading the letter Linsey wrote. It is so awesome to know there are people literally all over the world who are supportive of our family and of our charming and beautiful little angel. Click on the froggy-photo to see the album. Oh, we were all down with the flu which would account for the groggy looks and the messy hair. We were all laying low that week! Cheers!

Hi. My aunt saw the pics and thinks they are too cute. Says its just not normal for such a small child to have so much hair. Hahahaha.My bosses laughed said they loved the frog and trust me to buy a gift like that!! Hehehehe. They say you have plenty sympathy with the wand, their little girl drives them mad with hers.

hey guys. busy putting my list together for my boss for what i want from china is there anything in particular that danielle would like. things like barbies, toys and stuff is really really cheap there. as in ridiculously cheap, i have asked him to bring me a silky dress, and a traditional chinese doll, but if there is something she would like let me know,will send it with the easter package. also thinking how about i do a scrapbook page of her first birthday or christmas?

Hey guys hope you have a fab weekend, HUGE HUG FOR DANIELLE. Layla ( little girl i look after) started ballet today, at all of 3. It was too gorgeous. The little one's class is too adorable! Is Danielle still having fun with the fairy wand?

Hey guys. How are you all doing? Well I have had a very eventful week so far, and its only tuesday. A friend of mines wife had her baby yesterday, a little boy named Savio ( all of 7 pounds) and a mop of black hair. I have ended up with an abscess in the jaw bone ( OOOOOWWWIIIEE!!!) so on 2 courses of anti biotics and pain meds, and my other friends baby is going to be born on Thursday via C sect. Also a boy, Dimitri. I am in my element, lots of babies!!! How is princess Danielle? Please ask her if there is something in particular she would like from China!!! Anyways love to u all.

Hey guys how are you all doing? Hows Danielle? Been playing "dolls" all week with friends babies and they are only too happy to hand them over for a few hours in the morning so they can sleep. It's amazing how tiny they are yet they are so perfect. My one friend thinks Danielle is too beautiful. People can't get over how much hair she has, it's too funny all the guys say if that was their child she wouldn't be allowed to date until she is 40!!

Hey guys. How was the weekend? My boss leaves for China tomorrow for 10 days. So when he comes back I will send Danielle a package with a few goodies in. Um I did get her some sweets BUT not too many and some other goodies. Was my little cousins 2nd birthday party on Saterday. Had a blast. I am such a big kid ( jumping with kids on jumping castle) and carrying Emma all over. But she is so adorable. Getting broody which is a BAD thing!!! LOVE to u all

That horrible flu bug is hitting here. I have it and the kids have it so we spent the day in bed watching dvds. It's horrible and has been so hot here so with fevers and all we are having fun. Funny how kids seem to tolerate being sick better than us. I was half dead and they were sick but not dying! How are you all keeping?
